Compensation: $20.00–$39.00 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)

Job Summary

Friendly Connections, Inc. is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Social Worker (LSW) to join our growing mental health team in Matawan, New Jersey. The successful candidate will provide high-quality, person-centered counseling services to children, adolescents, and adults experiencing a variety of mental health concerns.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments.

• Develop individualized treatment and service plans.

• Provide individual counseling and therapeutic interventions.

• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation.

• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate.

• Collaborate with families, physicians, schools, and other treatment providers.

• Participate in multidisciplinary treatment planning.

• Maintain compliance with HIPAA, state licensing regulations, ethical standards, and agency policies.

• Perform additional clinical duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Applicants must:

• Hold a current and unrestricted New Jersey Licensed Social Worker (LSW) license.

• Possess a Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.

• Have strong assessment, counseling, documentation, and communication skills.

• Successfully complete all required background checks.

• Demonstrate professionalism, compassion, and a commitment to providing exceptional behavioral health services.

Previous experience in outpatient mental health, developmental disabilities, trauma-informed care, or community behavioral health is preferred but not required.
