We are hiring a part-time Direct Support Professional (DSP) for in-person, one-on-one community-based support in Mays Landing, Atlantic County, New Jersey.
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Approximately 6 hours per week, with opportunities for additional hours when available.
Work location: In person in Mays Landing, NJ 08330. This is not a remote position.
What this role involves
Our DSPs help people with intellectual and developmental disabilities work toward personal goals, build everyday skills, and participate meaningfully in their communities.
Support community activities, appointments, and personal goals.
Assist with independent-living and daily-life skills.
Provide job coaching and employment support when needed.
Provide transportation when required for the assignment.
Complete timely service documentation and communicate with the support team.
Requirements
At least 21 years old.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and willingness to transport the person supported when required.
Ability to complete required background checks and training.
Dependability and the ability to work independently in community-based settings.
Previous disability-support or human-services experience is helpful but not required. We provide required training.
