We are a New Jersey nonprofit organization, and we recruit Direct Support Professionals for in-person, community-based work throughout New Jersey. We serve individuals and families across all 21 counties, and hiring needs change as new participants and assignments become available.
Our statewide service area includes Atlantic, Bergen, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Essex, Gloucester, Hudson, Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth, Morris, Ocean, Passaic, Salem, Somerset, Sussex, Union, and Warren counties.
Direct Support Professionals help people with intellectual and developmental disabilities participate in their communities, build independence, strengthen practical and social skills, work toward employment and personal goals, and take part in meaningful activities and relationships.
Our DSP positions are not remote jobs. Staff work directly with people in their communities, so openings are tied to current participant needs, schedules, and geographic assignments. A county may be part of our statewide hiring area even when a specific assignment is not available in that county on a particular day.
Current DSP compensation is generally advertised at $20 per hour. Applicants must meet the requirements listed on our official Direct Support Professional careers page, including age, driving, vehicle, training, and onboarding requirements.
